SUMMARY: Noam has been developing Jewish environmental and eco-Zionist programming throughout North America for more than nine years. In addition to his work as Associate Director of the Teva Learning Center since 2001, Noam’s work includes leading the Green Zionist Alliance in the 2005-2006 World Zionist Congress elections, co-founding Adam Va-Adamah Environmental Society in British Columbia, and working with the Northwest Jewish Environmental Project in Seattle, WA.

Organization

  • Promote environmental education programs to synagogues, schools and youth groups.
  • Coordinate program logistics for over 60 groups annually.
  • Coordinate annual Educators Training Seminar attracting more than 30 participants from throughout North America and internationally.
  • Oversee advisory board and volunteers.
  • Direct annual fundraising campaign and foundation appeals.

Program Leadership

  • Direct residential and camping programs for 4th through 8th grade students.
  • Lead teen retreats.
  • Hire, develop and supervise staff.

Education

  • Develop new curricula and program initiatives.
  • Direct programming for staff and for adult and student participants.
